Obituary for James U Ward

James U. Ward, 76, of Lakeview, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at his home.

He was born on February 8, 1940 in Omar, WV, to the late Norbert and Marjorie Preston Ward. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Norbert “Gene” Ward.

On November 3, 1981, he married Mary Louise Laughlin in Columbus, OH and she survives along with a step-son, Robert Todd Garrow of Cape Coral, FL, a sister, Kathryn (Robert) Lee of Columbus, OH, sister-in-law, Patricia Ward of Hilliard, OH, and many nieces and nephews.

Jim retired from Capital City Exterminator of Columbus in 2002. He was a member of Indian Lake Moose #1533 and FOE Aeries #3615, both of Lakeview.

Per Jim’s wishes he was cremated and no services will be observed at this time.
